Sandpoint, ID – 7/28/25 – Panhandle Electric is proud to announce the completion of a meaningful lighting upgrade project for The Filling Station Youth Center, an organization dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming space for the Clark Fork and greater Bonner County community.

The project focused on installing new, energy-efficient lighting for the Filling Station’s indoor basketball court, ensuring visitors can safely enjoy the court year-round. This enhancement not only improves visibility and safety but also supports the Filling Station’s mission to create a fun and engaging environment where people can build connections, grow in confidence, and experience community.

“At Panhandle Electric, we’re passionate about projects that go beyond wiring and fixtures—they strengthen our community,” said Evan Lewis, owner of Panhandle Electric. “The Filling Station plays an important role as a local gathering place, and we’re honored to contribute to that mission with improved lighting that helps keep their space active and safe.”

The new lighting system features modern, durable fixtures designed to provide even, glare-free illumination while reducing long-term maintenance needs. By combining quality workmanship and thoughtful design, Panhandle Electric ensured the upgrade complements the center’s overall vision and daily use.

This project reflects Panhandle Electric’s ongoing commitment to investing in local nonprofits and community-focused spaces. By delivering electrical solutions that balance functionality, efficiency, and long-term value, the team at Panhandle Electric continues to help create environments where the community can gather, play, and thrive.
