Shelby brings a fresh perspective to Panhandle Electric as Operations Manager, blending creative insight with strategic thinking. With a background in organization, marketing, and program management, she was drawn to the opportunity to dive into a new trade and help shape and strengthen the company’s future. Though born and raised in Alaska, Shelby has called Idaho home for over 15 years and is passionate about contributing to the local community in meaningful ways.

What she enjoys most about working in the electrical trade is helping to demystify the complexities of the work and spotlighting the value that happens behind the walls. Shelby thrives in a role that lets her flex both the creative and analytical sides of her brain. Whether she’s managing daily logistics or crafting engaging content, she’s especially excited about using tools like social media and email marketing to drive measurable impact in the year ahead.

Outside of work, Shelby enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, Michael, and their young son. From hiking and camping to foraging and fishing, the Struhs family is always up for an adventure, especially when it means discovering more of what makes the Inland Northwest such a special place to call home.
